不登录时

笔记存在你选的文件夹或这个浏览器里，书不会上传，我们收不到。只有用 AI 功能时，要处理的那部分文字才会发给 AI 服务（见「我们用到的服务」）。

登录以后，我们存什么

登录是可选的。登录并点「开始同步」后，这些内容会存在云端，让你在不同设备上看到同一份：

• 账户：邮箱；用 Google 登录时还有 Google 账号编号和名字；每次登录的设备类型（比如「Mac · Chrome」）和时间。
• 你的内容：书的笔记和读到哪，书的文件和封面，主题综述，通用设置，问 AI 的对话和问过的问题，邀请码。

我们不存 API 密钥（它只留在你的设备上），也不会看到你的 Google 密码。Google 登录只要邮箱和名字，不碰你的 Google Drive。

怎么用这些内容

只用来让你登录、在设备之间同步。我们不卖你的内容，也不用它训练 AI。

笔记和书在传输和存储时都加密，但不是端到端加密：技术上管理员能读到。我们只在处理版权投诉、安全问题或法律要求时才会查看。

我们用到的服务

• Cloudflare：放网站、账户服务、数据库和文件，也可能按它的规则记录访问日志。数据可能存在你所在国家以外的地方。
• Resend：发登录验证码，会收到你的邮箱地址。
• Google：你选择用 Google 登录时。
• Anthropic（Claude）：你用 AI 功能时，收到相关的文字，可能包括选中的句子、整本书的内容、你的笔记、附上的资料和以前问过的问题。用自己的密钥时直接发过去；用邀请码时经过我们的中转服务，中转服务只记每个邀请码每月用了多少，不存内容。
• Cloudflare Web Analytics：统计网站访问量，不用 Cookie。

「吐槽一下」里你写的内容、昵称、这个浏览器的匿名编号，以及你选择留下的联系方式和使用环境（版本、语言、书的类型）会发给我们，用来改进产品和回复你。

留多久

• 账户和内容：留到你删除。
• 笔记的历史版本：30 天。
• 从云端删掉的书：在回收站放 30 天，之后文件删除。
• 登录状态：90 天没用就失效。
• 验证码：10 分钟。发信记录（邮箱和 IP 地址的哈希，用来防止滥发）：2 天。

你能做什么

• 导出：账户窗口的「导出全部」和「下载云端的书」。
• 删除：账户窗口的「删除账户」。云端的内容马上删除，所有设备退出；服务商的数据库恢复记录最多再留 30 天。
• 清掉一台设备：退出登录时选「从这台设备清掉」。
• 其他请求：写信到 [email protected]。

浏览器里存的

工具用浏览器的本地存储保存笔记、设置和登录状态，不用 Cookie 跟踪你。清理浏览器数据会删掉这些，云端的还在。

儿童

ReadIN 不面向未满 13 岁的儿童。如果你发现有这样的账户，请告诉我们。

变更

重要变更会在网站上说明，并更新上面的日期。

If you don't sign in

Your notes stay in the folder you chose or in this browser. Books aren't uploaded, and we never receive them. Text leaves your device only when you use an AI feature (see "Services we use").

What we store when you sign in

Signing in is optional. After you sign in and click "Start syncing", the following is stored in the cloud so you see the same things on every device:

• Account: your email; if you use Google, your Google account ID and name; the device type (such as "Mac · Chrome") and time of each sign-in.
• Your content: notes and reading position, book files and covers, topic reviews, general settings, Ask AI chats and past questions, and your invite code.

We don't store API keys (they stay on your device) and never see your Google password. Google sign-in only asks for your email and name, and doesn't touch your Google Drive.

How we use it

Only to sign you in and sync between your devices. We don't sell your content or use it to train AI.

Notes and books are encrypted in transit and at rest, but this is not end-to-end encryption: an administrator could technically read them. We only look when handling a copyright complaint, a security issue or a legal requirement.

Services we use

• Cloudflare: hosts the website, account service, database and files, and may keep access logs under its own rules. Data may be stored outside your country.
• Resend: sends sign-in codes and receives your email address.
• Google: when you choose to sign in with Google.
• Anthropic (Claude): when you use an AI feature, it receives the relevant text, which may include a selected sentence, a whole book, your notes, attached files and past questions. With your own key, text goes straight to Anthropic. With an invite code, it passes through our relay, which records how much each code used per month and doesn't store the content.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts site visits without cookies.

What you write in the feedback box, your nickname, this browser's anonymous ID, and any contact details and usage context (version, language, book type) you choose to include are sent to us to improve the product and reply to you.

How long we keep it

• Account and content: until you delete them.
• Earlier versions of notes: 30 days.
• Books deleted from the cloud: 30 days in the trash, then the files are removed.
• Sign-ins: expire after 90 days without use.
• Sign-in codes: 10 minutes. Email send records (hashes of the email and IP address, used to prevent abuse): 2 days.

Your choices

• Export: "Export everything" and "Download books from the cloud" in the account window.
• Delete: "Delete account" in the account window. Cloud content is deleted right away and all devices are signed out. Our provider's database recovery records last up to 30 more days.
• Clear a device: choose "Clear from this device" when signing out.
• Other requests: write to [email protected].

Browser storage

ReadIN uses your browser's local storage for notes, settings and your sign-in. It doesn't use cookies to track you. Clearing browser data removes these; your cloud copy stays.

Children

ReadIN isn't meant for children under 13. If you find such an account, please tell us.

Changes

We'll announce important changes on the website and update the date above.
